What's been going on?

So Kerry has been doing more traveling than usual lately which has made for some busy and tiring weeks.  Luke has become quite difficult to get to sleep at night since he is still napping in daycare (we had the same problem with Hunter about this age.)  I was exhausted and put everyone to bed and then went to sleep myself.  At around 11:15pm Connor started crying to be fed, while I was feeding him, I heard video game music.  When I was done with Connor I went downstairs to find Luke sitting on the couch, playing a game on my iPad!

Hunter is taking CCD classes preparing for his 1st Communion this Spring.  Part of that prep is going to confession.  He will go for the first time on Saturday, but his teacher wanted us to practice with him so he wouldn't be as nervous.  Last night we were roll playing and I asked him what he was going to confess.  He said three things:

1. I have been getting bad reports home from school.
2. I hit my brother.
3. I steal.

I said, what do you steal? totally surprised!!  Remember, he said, that caramel after dinner (from our house.)  Oh, yes I remember but lets not say that.....

So we modified the list to:

1. I get bad reports home from school about my behavior.
2. I fight with my brother.
3. I don't listen to my parents.

Much better, now mommy won't have to talk to the Priest after confession!!
